I am in my 5th month of my first pregnancy, and living in Guangzhou. Initially, I had planned to travel to my parents' home in Singapore to give birth, but now that the time is approaching for delivery, I'm having second thoughts. The main reason is not being able to travel for so long (would have to leave at 7th month and then not be able to come back until we get the passport and visa for the baby) – this could end up being a total of anywhere from 4-6 months! A long time to be away from home and the hubby/father!

So now I am looking at options to deliver locally in Guangzhou. I have been doing a bit of research and most people say they have used the VIP Birthing Clinic – which I have read mixed reviews about. Would anyone happen to have any leads/contacts in GZ or guide me in the right direction? Of course, the medical facilities, post natal care are top concern!
