Chongqing General Hospital is the first batch of Class three Grade A comprehensive hospital in Chongqing. In August 2014, the Chongqing government approved the merger of the former Chongqing third People's Hospital and Chongqing Zhongshan Hospital. The hospital has three divisions, but obstetrics service is only available at Third hospital division.
