Official Hospital Description

(Pleases note that the "Official Hospital Description" is directly from the hospital's website or other marketing materials.)

St. Paul’s Hospital was founded in 1898 by the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres. Inspired by the Gospel values and following the teaching of our patron, St. Paul, the Sisters together with the hospital staff continue the healing mission of Jesus Christ and making present the love of God for all men through their kindness and compassion in dealing with patients.

St. Paul’s Hospital is a comprehensive, acute private hospital located at the heart of Causeway Bay. The hospital provides around 450 beds with more than 20 departments to support the overall medical services of the hospital. In April 2017, all existing clinical services in Block A relocated to Block B, except Radiology Department which retained the present site and expanded into Block B LG1. Block A will then be modified to create an Auditorium, ambulatory centres such as Eye Centre and Dental Centre, and offices.

The hospital has advanced facilities which are combined with the modern technology and various on-site support services. These facilities enable our team of caring consultants, specialists and other healthcare professionals to deliver professional service in a friendly and comfortable environment. St. Paul’s Hospital is committed to improving its facilities and personnel training. The spirit of St. Paul’s Hospital is in pursuit of excellence in the provision of service to its clients.
