Most of their physicians and nursing staff speak fluent English, and their major clinical departments are staffed with foreign doctors. They also have a team that is able to translate medical records and documentation.

Where do mothers labor, deliver & recover?

Labor and deliver in the same room

The hospital has 8 LDRs altogether, with 1 designed as an isolated LDR with negative pressure for suspected infectious patients. The LDR is nicely decorated, with a focus on family experience, and equipped with advanced equipment to ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby, including newborn warmers and an infant resuscitation module. All LDRs are private and spacious, with an en suite bathroom and a sofa bed for family members.

Are labor, delivery, recovery rooms private?

Is NICU available on site?

Yes

The NICU is equipped with advanced technology and equipment for newborn resuscitation and treatment. It is staffed by experienced neonatologists and NICU nurses.

Are natural birthing alternatives available (water birth, birthing on a yoga ball, etc...)?

Yes

They have a yoga ball, and their obstetricians are experienced in various methods of pain management.

Does the hospital support VBAC?

Yes

Doctors are experienced with VBAC but the mother will need a full OB assessment to make sure she is medically suitable for VBAC.

Is a birthing coach, spouse, friend and/or translator allowed in the delivery room during delivery?

Yes

Only 1 family member is allowed in during the whole delivery journey to ensure safety and a comfortable patient experience. They have a family lounge for other family members.
