I gave birth at this hospital and they have translators on staff to accompany you throughout your examines, procedures etc. Very clean, professional and pricing is slightly high but they do accept major international and domestic insurance. The hospital overnight rooms are amazingly comfortable (private rooms). Overall, as an American, I would recommend this hospital to anyone.

Founders of havingababyinchina.com, Jeremy and Jacquelyn have four children. The first three were born in three different hospitals in China and the last was born at home in the US. Jeremy and Jacquelyn created havingababyinchina.com in 2009 after they found little information for foreigners having babies in China. They love connecting with other foreigners having babies. Struggling to get your car paid off? Are you mad about the last deal you got?
Perhaps you’re looking for an automobile now, and you’re not sure what to do differently.
You’re in the same boat with many other people. Keep reading to find out information regarding what to do next time you enter a dealership.
@Wen. For my 1st child I did the membership package. You have to pay the money up front and they will then deduct each months consultation and fees depending on which tests are required. There are 3 packages 50,000rmb, 20,000rmb, and 12,000rmb each will give u a % discount off . I cant remember the exact discount. . .. but the bigger the amount the bigger the discount.
This pregnancy I have not taken the membership yet, I am paying for each consultation separately. Nearer my due date I will take the 20000rmb package as this will cover the cost of natural delivery.
The hospital is very friendly and they would be more than happy if you turned up and wanted a tour of the facilities and upto date information.
Thanks, Dom! I’ll pray for your safe delivery. God Bless! =)
I gave birth to my first child in 2011 at Home hospital. I would definitely recommend it. Many of the nurses and midwives speak english and there are 2 ob/gyn who speak english but prefer to communicate through a translator. I will have my 2nd child here in the autumn. For the entire prenatal check ups and natural delivery it was approx 50, 000rmb. And the prices dont seem to have changed. membership packages can be purchased to get discounts. I am from the UK and was impressed with the facilities and service offered here.
Thanks, Dom! So glad you were able to help with pricing questions.
As you can see, the listing above needs to be updated. Would you mind filling out an official Hospital Review for us? https://www.havingababyinchina.com/hospital-review-submission/
Thanks, again!
@ Dom : Did you get the membership package? Or you just paid every month for your pregnancy consultation and paid another amount on your delivery date of your first baby? Is getting the membership package worth it? Do you have an idea if the package has to be paid early and in full amount? I hope you would reply again. Thank you.
Hi, I would like to ask how much did it cost you to give birth at Home Hospital? Did you give birth normally or thru caesarian section? I hope you could share more about your delivery experience in this hospital. I’m trying to research more about this hospital because my husband and I are planning to get pregnant and give birth here in Shenzhen. Thanks!
What do you mean when you say “pricing is slightly high”? Is this in comparison to Chinese hospitals or to American? I have not given birth in China before and have no idea what to expect, cost wise.
Thanks!
