In 1900, Tongji Hospital was founded by Mr. Erich Paulun, a German doctor, in Shanghai. After 110 years of construction and development, it has grown into an innovative modern hospital integrating medical care, teaching and research. With a complete array of disciplines, a distinguished gathering of experts and an ample force of teachers, and with exquisite medical techniques, state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, outstanding research capabilities and sophisticated scientific management, it has leaped to the front row of China’s hospitals.
Tongji Hospital offers to help foreigners in Wuhan, who cannot speak Chinese and are in any kind of medical need, may it be acute or chronic diseases, general checkups, vaccination etc. We provide an English medical service to find the way in our hospital, receive the diagnostics and treatments needed and arrange the payment procedures.

Founders of havingababyinchina.com, Jeremy and Jacquelyn have four children. The first three were born in three different hospitals in China and the last was born at home in the US. Jeremy and Jacquelyn created havingababyinchina.com in 2009 after they found little information for foreigners having babies in China. They love connecting with other foreigners having babies. Learn more about them on the about page.
